Pedego Electric Bikes Oyama
Lake Country, BC
Jump into the loop experience! Start where you began! This incredible loop around the entirety of Wood Lake is a unique experience. If you choose to start in Lake Country, you can have the enjoyment of stopping halfway in Oyama, a town caught between two lakes. While you’re there, be sure to hop over and check out Kalamalka Lake, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful lakes in the entire world.
If you choose to start in Oyama, make sure you explore Lake Country and the Turtle Bay area on Wood Lake’s south end. This loop is an easy hike or cycle at under 20 kilometres and flat all the way around. It’s great for children, the elderly and everyone in between.

Where is the trailhead in Lake Country for this trail? I can’t see any information on the website for actual start points?
Jenna Labossiere
Hi Charmaine,
You can enter the trail from the Lake Country side on Woodsdale Road just past Wood lake Park Estates. To enter from the Oyama side, you can continue along the same trail as Kekuli to Lake Country and carry on the loop around Wood Lake, or follow the trail to the left at Wood Lake along Oyama Rd.

would it be a safe bet that all the trails marked with one green circle (easy) could be ridden on a bike with hybrid tires? thanks.
Jenna Labossiere
Hi Nancy,
Yes it is a well maintained trail that is flat and composed of compact gravel.
