Cold Stream — Kekuli Bay

This short tour from Coldstream to Kekuli Bay is perfect for a family morning or afternoon as a round trip can be done within a couple of hours. This can even be done as a day hike as it has an easy grade, taking a short 3 hours to do one way. The packed down gravel trail with little to no incline, makes for a smooth ride all along the beautiful shores of the green-blue waters of Kalamalka Lake. If you’re doing this in summer, there are many spots to pause and jump into the lake for a quick swim. The entire trail offers great rest points, so grab a picnic and stop whenever you want! When you reach Kekuli Bay, enjoy the playground with your little ones or take a moment to reflect on the beauty of Kal Lake. Kekuli Bay offers a beautiful, easily accessible camping area perfect for families and adults alike. This is the perfect introductory bike trip for a family of little ones.
