Christina Lake — Grand Forks (Via cascade falls)

24.3 Km

At just under 25 km long, this trail is the perfect family Boundary experience. Beginning at Christina lake, start your day with a quick snack, or ice cream to gear up for your day of riding on the shores of one of Canada’s warmest lakes. Once you reach Cascade, you’ll see the well-known Cascade Falls. Watch them from the bridge above, and if you’re there in spring you just might get sprayed by some of the water or mist jumping out of the river.

Continue toward Grand Forks along the bends of the Kettle River. You’ll travel through Gilpen Grasslands Provincial Park, which was created to protect the unique grassland ecosystem that is home to many endangered animals. You might even see some Bighorn Sheep or Gophers if you keep your eyes peeled.

The trail is mostly flat, making it the perfect way to spend some time with your loved ones. Depending on how fast you want to complete this section, there are accommodations at both ends of the trail for you to spend the night.
