If you’re looking for a localized bike or hike to get your feet wet, the Midway Town Trail is perfect for you. With both a stretch of rail trail and many other trails around town, you’re sure to find one that you will like. Visit Mile Zero, where the Kettle Valley Railway and the Columbia & Western Railway meet. While you’re there, swing by the Kettle River Museum and learn the history of the battling railways and prospector’s hopes of finding gold. You can explore the Midway Mountain Hiking Trail which offers an incredible view of the valley. Depending on the weekend you visit, you may find yourself in the middle of one of the many festivals hosted in Midway, like the Kettle River Days or the Groove Music Festival. Be sure to check out Entwined Trees Park and the Stekthal Learning Circle on your tour of the town.
