Princeton — Tulameen

26.2 Km

*This trail is closed due to extensive washouts attributed to heavy rain that has severely damaged parts of the trail.

Bridges, tunnels, and getting away from the beaten path. Does that sound appealing? Then this section of trail is for you. Far away from the regularly-ridden Okanagan trails is this Similkameen section of the KVR. This truly is a part of the province that is rarely explored, as most people decide to travel southwest from Princeton towards Manning Park rather than travelling north into old Gold cCuntry. Ride along the Tulameen river and imagine swarms of desperate gold panners lusting for that nugget of gold knee-deep in the rushing water, grasping for anything so that their trip wasn’t rendered useless. Ride through historic Coalmont, complete with an old hotel and signage that hasn’t changed in nearly a century. Finish in Tulameen with a beautiful view of Otter Lake. If you brought a tent, pitch it on the shores at one the campgrounds in the area and enjoy a beautiful, uninterrupted rendezvous with nature.
